This official publication honoured 50 ethnocultural groups that represent 50 political jurisdictions worldwide. The publication selected very few individuals from each country - those who immigrated to Canada within the past century, and whose success and professional achievements as Canadian citizens have earned them elite recognition.
The Section covering "Egypt" consists of only six pages (#182-187) and it presented fewer than a dozen individuals selected from a 400,000 Egyptian-Canadian community. This is page #184 presenting an Egyptian doctor and an Egyptian model, Afrah, to whom the publication referred to (as shown below the photo) as "one of Canada's top fashion models."
