To the right, page 184 of "Canada at
the Millennium" volume VII.  An official publication honouring 50 ethnocultural groups who have contributed famous and successful personnel within the past 50 years.

The book, which honours selected individuals from every culture - those who have achieved a special status in several walks of life, has selected Afrah in
the Modeling category.
The Canada at the Millennium, published by the government of Canada, dedicated pages #182 through 187 to Canadian Egyptians. The book selected 10 Canadian Egyptians representing success in a wide variety of arenas: a scientist in the field of engineering, Christian theologian, medical doctors who are also present professors of medicine at Canadian universities in the fields of neurodegenerative and cosmetic surgery - areas in which Egyptian doctors have excelled; a pharmacist research chemist, architect, lawyer and a model. Guess who the model is?

The book presented the picture above and entered an introduction of Afrah's background.

Afrah studied public relations and business administration at the American university in Cairo and at York university; as well as Ryerson Polytechnic institute and Seneca college in Toronto.

The book calls Afrah: "one of Canada's leading fashion models".
